I am an ordained Humanist Celebrant for the state of Hawaii and serve on the island of Oahu. I am a Secular Humanist and believe in equality between everyone and the right to marry regardless of religious beliefs or sexual preference. I do not represent any religion and simply perform legal marriages for the state. I focus on making your marriage ceremony, as well as vow renewals and funerals, a deep and meaningful experience between you and loved ones. While a Justice of the Peace could also perform a legal binding, I however bring in the values, beliefs and spirituality that you share, with a warm and genuine approach.

     I am 30 years old and joyfully married. I believe in the love, strength and the bond that a family holds. I was raised to love deeply and to always help others. I was encouraged to think critically and question everything, which has lead me to my secular beliefs.  I have also served in the Military for 13 year and continue to do so. My career has brought me to many places where I have been able to witness and emerge into a wide range of cultures and diversity which have made me who I am today.

     I chose to become a Secular Celebrant because more and more people leave their religions everyday, but do not have many options to turn to when it is time to marry, often steering us to the JOP. I also fully support the LGBT community and now that this country is finally progressing, there needs to be more opportunities to marry. With that, I also understand that the marriage between same sex couples is against many religions, therefor making  a Humanist wedding a great option. I can make your ceremonies short and sweet, or if you like, I can go more in depth. I am very flexible and have your happiness in mind. I  look forward to meeting you and helping you celebrate a meaningful event in your life.
